We've been eating at Hillbillies (previously Galvin's) for many years, Through several different owners the food quality has remained consistently well above average for the area. I don't recall having any meals there other than breakfast so I can't offer comment on any other meals. Their breakfast menu is pretty basic but every thing I've tried so far has been fresh, well prepared and very tasty. Portions are generous and their prices are reasonable. Their décor is pretty hokey but not offensively so. The place is kept immaculately clean which in itself can be a bit unusual in remote locales like this. The staff is always friendly and attentive.

We recently ate breakfast at Hillbillies, the first thing we noticed was the abundance of flies... not a good first impression. Unfortunately, the flies were a lasting impression as we were constantly swatting during our visit. The food was decent, not anything to rave over. The coffee tasted poor. The prices were average. The service was fair, the one waitress seemed a little overwhelmed with the busy Sunday morning customers. We will try another cafe on our next visit.

Loved the décor, friendly staff, a ton of food for the money. We had breakfast there 2 mornings in a row.

Was passing through town today and needed a place to eat. We stopped here and loved it. The food was excellent and the service was great.

The restaurant makes you smile from the time you enter the door. Decorated in true Hillbilly style with lots of quirks and oddities. We were there for breakfast on a Sunday morning, and it was a full house. There is only 1 server for the whole place(she was friendly, efficient and attentive), so just have some patience and enjoy the place. When the food came, it was hearty and very good. Some interesting combos, but no one wanted to try the "frog legs n eggs".
