“Great Hongkong cuisine”
Reviewed July 8, 2013

Wondeful flavors and very interesting preparations. Love the (more) authentic taste of Hong-Kong style food rather than the run-of-mill chinese...

“Go to place for late nights”
Reviewed June 10, 2013

This is the best place for late nights, they are opened quite late every day. They do late night dim sum (3 orders for $10) after 9 pm. I don't know if this is the best dim sum in the Bay area but it is quite good and the restaurant is quite spacious with high ceilings. Weekend dim sum is very popular here, go at off-peak hours if you don't want a long wait.

“Great dim sum, great ambience!”
Reviewed June 5, 2013

The dim sum is deliciously and freshly prepared. The restaurant is huge, bright and sunny. There is a queue system, which moves fast and faultlessly. The patrons are the young turks of Silicon Valley, with their wives and toddlers , and frequently, their parents here in the US of A for a visit. The median age of the cosmopolitan patrons is 30. Everyone uses the chopsticks effortlessly. many are non-Chinese, but can place orders and communicate with the dim sum ladies in Mandarin and Cantonese. The crowd, the conversations and the conviviality all add up to an electrifying experience.

“Best Dim Sum place around here.”
Reviewed May 7, 2013

The best Dim Sum place around Mountain View area. It is open until midnight, which is great since not many restaurants here do!

The staff can be quite rude when they are busy and a lot of them do not speak English to you, so minimal knowledge of Chinese can be useful. (They talk in Cantonese, but they will speak Mandarin to you if you talk to them in Mandarin.)

The crispy shrimp balls are really good. Also, the har gaw is something you also should not miss. If you come on weekend for lunch dimsum, sometimes they have konchi, which is one of my favorites!

“A Good Place for Tasty Chinese Food in Mountain View, California”
Reviewed April 4, 2013

The "Fu Lam Mum" Chinese Restaurant is located on Castro Street in downtown Mountain View, California. The place is big but crowded - a sure sign of popularity. The service was efficient and friendly. We had ordered for chicken fried rice, beef crispy pan fried noodles and chicken stir fried noodles. The food was very tasty and my grand children just loved it. This place reminded me of Chinese food available in Kolkata, India - almost halfway around the World!
