I went with a group of friends and we ordered a few dishes to share. My two favorite dishes were the vegetarian duck and the vegetarian orange chicken. I became vegetarian less than 1 year ago and my experience at this restaurant was great. The textures, flavors, and aspect of these fake meats (made mostly of shiitake mushrooms) really fooled me. I returned with my boyfriend a week later to try these 2 dishes again and to try to figure out how they were made. I had trouble eating the duck because it looked a bit too real; we just couldn't figure out how it could be fake. It's worth noting that these "meat" dishes had the healthy properties of a vegetarian meal. The food in general was fairly priced, and the staff (the owners, I believe) are really nice and offer good service. I highly recommend this place. Oh, and there's also a poster showing some of the most influential people in history who were vegetarian, just to keep your motivation going: Einstein, Jobs, Gandhi, Darwin, Lincoln, and others. Check it out! There's a second location in Palo Alto.
