Went to Scratch with 4 other colleagues for a business dinner on a weeknight. Seating was efficient, service was friendly and well-paced throughout. The restaurant has a nice vibe and a modern look. Location is good, too, with ample parking close.
They have an extremely interesting selection of small-batch alcohols, including a number of gins I had never heard of I went with the server's recommendations and was very pleased. We had oysters and crab cakes for appetizers. The oysters were excellent, very fresh and chilled. Crab cakes were fine, though a little to mealy for this Maryland boy (more lump meat, please!).
For entrees, we had pork, meatloaf and two of us had the salmon special. All were done correctly, delicious and well-proportioned. Sides were very good, as well.
For dessert, I had the sticky toffee pudding, which was delicious.
