“A great place to relax on the weekend”
Reviewed July 29, 2013

Lakeside cafe is a quaint little restaurant which rests on the shore of a man-made activities lake, which offers rentals and classes for sailing, wind-surfing, cayaking, rowing and other non-motorized water activities. The food is actually fairly decent, with a variety of meat, vegetable and pastry offerings. My favorite is the Tomato-Mozzarella on focaccia. Or sometimes, we just go for the fries. There's always some birds and squirrels running around and it's quite active on the weekend, so be prepared for a parking challenge.

“Average food, great setting”
Reviewed July 9, 2013

Sometimes the setting is more important that the food and an average meal with a great setting - Lakeside can be the right combination. The Lakeside Cafe fits that need, it's not crowded, beautifully setting at a small lake in Shoreline Park, jst a shirt drive sat Michaels at Shoreline.
The menu offers primarily sandwiches and some salads, I found the place after decding not to stand in line at Michaels.

“Nice food - Nice venue”
Reviewed May 7, 2013

Sitting beside the lake my wife and I split a very nice Penne Pasta. For a relaxing meal with a view of the lake and birds under an umbrella this is a place you should definitely consider. Then take a walk and enjoy the bay lands.
