I went to this restaurant so many times just because my friends like Korean BBQ and there are no other nearby Korean BBQs. I feel that the restaurant is abusing the fact that they are a monopoly around the area.
The price is way too high. $25 (including tips + tax) is way too expensive for a "buffet" without any seafood. The meat is of low quality. Also, if you have not finished one kind of meat, the owner will refuse to bring you extra ones, which is ridiculous in terms of buffet concept.
MOST IMPORTANT: The hygiene in this restaurant is terrible. Last time I went there the whole restaurant smelled like urine. I am not sure whether it's the bathroom problem or what, but this is a terrible way to manage a restaurant. Avoid this and go somewhere else for a better Korean BBQ if you can. Or if you like, there are a lot mor restaurants to choose from on Castro Street, so please take advantage of your availability of choice.
