This was our first visit to Lily's. The dining room was not busy and it was 7:30 on a Thursday evening, so we were seated promptly. The menu selections looked great and we selected the Beef Stroganoff and the Potato Encrusted Salmon. The salads were okay, but nothing extraordinary. When the entries arrived, neither were bad, but neither were particularly inspired. The salmon was better than the stroganoff. The pasta with the beef tasted as if it had been overcooked and maybe cooked several hours before our arrival. The beef was cut into cubes instead of julienned as listed on the menu and not particularly tender. The potato encrusting the salmon looked more like hash browns which had been smashed on top of the fish. The fish itself was tasty, but more cooked than I had requested. The table boasted a selection of specialty drinks, but when we ordered one of the cocktails listed, they were out of the liquor which is required for the drink. Overall, this place is okay but not worth the money. Maybe they are better for breakfast, but next time we will go elsewhere for dinner.
