“Best scrambled eggs ever!”
Reviewed November 14, 2013

"California Scramble" for $9.95 with lots of avacado, and tasty hash browns. Very nice, informal, comfortable atmosphere. Filled with local patrons; picture window seating against the sidewalk of a main street in town. Order of the menu at the counter, where great looking pastries sit under glass. The waitress serves your food, but you serve your own coffee and water from a side station. the service is just okay, but the food tastes delicious!

“Great Little Shop & Friendly Owners”
Reviewed November 3, 2013

Loved this little shop! It has a homey small town feel to it while at the same time welcoming to new visitors. The two egg dishes we ordered were generous in size, very good, and priced well.

We had a brief chat with one of the owners about our trip and told them we found them via their great Tripadvisor and Yelp reviews. We had stayed at the nearby Mt Shasta Resort and had a horrible dinner the night before at their Highland House restaurant, so there was no way we were eating breakfast there too. So glad we found Mt Shasta Pastry!

On our way out we picked up two turnovers for the road, one apple, one apricot. They were delicious too :)

“Great Breakfast Spot!”
Reviewed July 17, 2013

Stopped here for breakfast before climbing Mt. Shasta, and it was fantastic! The people who served us were so friendly and treated us like locals. The pastries were good, and I had the oatmeal which was also great. I recommend visiting this place if you are in the area.

“Affordable LA tastes without the attitude”
Reviewed July 14, 2013 via mobile

This place was walking distance from our hotel, and has quickly become our favorite breakfast spot. It gets filled quickly so arrive early if you want a seat. The good is quite surprising since it is a small little place on a mountain - yet, it is healthy and just lovely...without all the paranoid drug using hippies that are attempting to steal my purse. (Such as in the Mt Shasta Laundromat and Grocery store!) They played tasteful frank Sinatra songs while I ate my eggs Benedict and pain au chocolat. We always skip the hotel breakfast just to come here. The owner is so darling and sweet, her smile brightens the day. I left my purse here once - for a whole day - and they kept it safe, without stealing a cent. It's the relaxed, European experience with surprisingly low prices, impeccable service, clean, with a teamwork environment. (The chef came out to take orders when there were 16 people waiting in line!) I love this unpretentious, warm little spot.
