“The only show in town for genuine sushi”
Reviewed January 7, 2012

All the food here is meticulously prepared, and presented with excellence. The atmosphere is very nice, and the people that work there warm and welcoming. The food takes awhile so have some Saki while you wait. That said, be warned this place is very expensive. I'd think they'd attract far more customers (especially locally) if they nmade prices either a) more affordable or b) at the very least offer some items specially priced on certain days of the week. This is done commonly in larger cities, where restaurants need to be competitive. I offer this info. in the spirit of positive suggestions, and not to criticize. If you are wealthy, have at it with no worries.

“Strange ambiance (people)but OK food”
Reviewed November 28, 2011

Patio service was barely adequate. Server doubled our drinks without first informing us. Delivered a full-sized salad when a half-size was ordered then said "I can't take it back" Wow !!

“A big city gourmet sushi restaurant in a small town”
Reviewed September 6, 2011

EXCELLENT!! The best addition to Mt Shasta. Not a run of the mill sushi restaurant, but gourmet with unique sauces and great atmosphere and wonderful presentation. This restaurant is worth the visit to Mt Shasta.

“Inventive, health, delicious and stylish”
Reviewed August 16, 2011

OK overlook the body fashion statements on the locals. if you got to Mt Shasta, you are probably a Seeker anyway.
This was a terrific meal, in a no-frills house, with delicate flavors well blended and they say, it was all good for me too.
We heard people drive from San Francsico to eat there and take classes with the chef.

“Best Restaurant in Mount Shasta”
Reviewed March 13, 2011

Excellent sauces, delicately cooked specialties. Awesome warming & huge Soba, Udon & Ramen bowls. Large menu. Good local beers on tap. Local & Organic whenever possible. Everything I've ever eaten here has been a treat. & you feel healthy when you leave- not heavy or uncomfortably stuffed. Nice ambiance too.
