Fish and chips: Good and reasonably priced. Fish was moist. Fries were crisp.
Halibut and chips: Fish was dry. Flavor was bland. Price was twice that of fish and chips.

Location is good. Live music is a bit amateur, but okay. Service is somewhat fast.

I'd eat here again, but definitely wouldn't get the halibut and chips.

Our family, with three teens and a friend had a very good dinner here. The teens ordered the seafood pasta....and refused to share! I had a crab salad. It was the only crab salad I had ever, that had LARGE chunks of crab in it. Very good.
A note about reservations. We tried twice before to call the day we wanted reservations and didn't get in. Call the day before for better luck.

Staying in Morro Bay for the night, Dockside was recommended by the receptionist at the hotel, and it turned out to be a great recommendation! Friendly attentive service. Fresh and delicious seafood. The best fried clam strips I've ever had -- and that's no small feat! The pickle/relish tray is a great touch too -- also, pet friendly on the outdoor terrace.

We came here for lunch while staying in Pismo Beach. We chose Dockside Too over the original restaurant and were happy for our decision. There is only outdoor seating. We had the BBQ oysters and clam chowder and both were delicious. The oysters do vary quite a bit in size and since we got one that was tiny (looked almost like part of it was removed) we went to exchange it. Not only did they give us a better oyster, the original "baby" sized one was also returned. We enjoyed the food so much that we got an order to take with us for dinner. If you are lucky (as we were) you could catch their fishing boat docking and see them unloading buckets of salmon. Highly recommended!
