“Good "Old-School" family Restaurant”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 25, 2012

We were visiting family over a long weekend in the Morro Bay area and decided to check out the wharf area. The menu here looked good and when we walked around mid-day the place was packed with people who looked like locals - usually a good sign, so we decided to have dinner here. It was a good choice - menu is traditional seafood (grilled seafood, pasta dishes, chowder, seafood salad, etc.), good variety so something for everyone, and the service was friendly and very helpful. The place is not fancy but comfortable, and has great views of Morro Rock and the bay. We were there in the evening and it was a bit chilly, so sat inside. There is outdoor seating which would be great for lunch on a nice warm day. The value and quality were good, and recommend.

“Also great”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 24, 2012

we ate here the next day and ate outside on the dining area, had live music and a show of seagulls, pelicans and boats coasting by all the while smelling the sea.. (things you treasure when you live in Phoenix) love the place. also when we stopped for gas at convience store, a group of young kids came in and everyone was getting coffee or hot choclate. These kids were so nice and polite. I was so impressed with them. Hats off to Morro Bay residents!! very nice place to get the chance to stay!!

“Best seafood on Central Coast”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 23, 2012

We live in Morro Bay so we have had a chance to try different restaurants in the area. We have stopped trying others and always go to Dockside TOO, the outdoor fish market. I usually have the fish tacos, my partner had the grilled scallops, oh, they have of bbq oysters on the half shell which are to die for. There is always a musician playing nice music and if the weather is nice you cannot beat this place for delicious seafood .

“Great fish tacos”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 19, 2012

The waterfront cafe has outdoor seating and they actually accept your pet on a leash at the outdoor seating area. We often go down for wonderful tacos and beer. The staff is great and always a fun place to meet new people.

“Local Favorite”

Dockside is a fish market and outdoor restaurant. Great fish and chips, good N.E. clam chowder. Lots of fresh fish choices as well. Walk up counter service inside, nice wine and beer selections at reasonable prices, dog-friendly casual outdoor dining overlooking the "Rock" and the harbor. Fishing boats returning to offload their catch next to Dockside.
