Our last night in Morro Bay and we weren't sure where to eat. We were on our way to another restaurant when we spotted the "Dutchman".
As the main restaurant was full, we agreed to sit in an adjacent covered patio which turned out to be perfect. The space was quiet and it was within earshot of two buskers - a banjo player and a clarinet player - who played a medley of old-time tunes from the 30's and 40's that my parents would have loved. With their music as a background and the vista in front of us, the evening was wonderful!
We share calamari before settling into our entrees which we washed down with a nice local wine. The relaxing pace and the wonderfully prepared meal made our time here most memorable. I'd come back again.
