The motel is located only one block away from the ocean. The room was clean and the wifi is available. I would stay here again next time I visit Morro Bay.

This hotel is HORRIBLE! The window wouldn't lock, we could hear the guy snoring next door all night, we could feel the springs in the mattress in our backs, there were blood stains and who knows what else on the pillows, cigarette burns in the sheets, mold in the shower, not to mention numerous fire code violations, trash all over the place outside...I could go on and on! It was disgusting and not a pleasurable experience whatsoever! For the price, you can find much better accommodations elsewhere in Morro Bay.

The location is great, one block from the "strip" and an easy walk to the down town where the non-tourists hang out. There is a trailer park directly across the street and this hotel is one of many in this area. The desk staff was great and the reservation process was easy. The Inn is in need of paint and the "landscaping" is comprised of a few straggly half dead shrubs and some lava rock. Upon entering the room we noticed a six inch piece of carpet missing exposing the concrete floors. Two of the three screens in our windows were either bent or had holes in them so they were not much use. The linen was pristine and delivered by a linen company. The Wi-Fi was simply a cable in the room but ours had no activity and neither our PC or MAC could detect a true Wi-Fi network. There was a fine selection of cable programs that worked for our kids. the electrical outlet in the vanity area was too loose and wouldn't hold a plug. The outlet behind the bed didn't have a cover and a was a fire hazard. There was NO smoke detector. the bracket that had originally held it was painted over. The electric outlet over the sink WASN'T grounded
and electrocution was possible. the worst was the three hole outlet located INSIDE the shower. Two of the switches operated the lights in the bathroom. The third opening looked to be an electrical outlet. Management had thought it might pose some risk so they had "taped" over the outlet side. the mirrors were chipped, the bathroom vanity had been "made" to fit so there was a six inch rim of spackle holding it to the wall. The shower head was mounted at about 5 feet so it was truly adequate for washing one's navel but to wash your hair you had to bend in half. the free coffee was simply a pot brewed with non-dairy powder creamer provided as an after thought and pre-packaged pastries from a box store. Walking down the hill resulted in finding a GREAT french bakery that truly had marvelous pastries and fresh brewed coffee and espresso. We stayed a Saturday and sunday and our room on Saturday was over $200 with all the taxes and fees. Not at all a bargain!

If your not going to spend any time in your room and you need a cheap place to stay, then this is it. As soon as we unpacked there was a domestic disturbance with several occupants and the Morro Bay police were called. We could hear everything from our room and this was the second time that day that the police came out. It appeared as though people were not merely staying at this hotel but actually living there. Some people had dogs that were running around the parking lot all weekend. The walls were paper thin, the tv was poor quality, the bathroom was awful, the bed needed to be replaced, the room had a stale smoking scent to it even though it was a non-smoking room. We saw bums hanging around the place in the morning and there was a trailer park right across the street.

This is not the hotel for light to medium sleepers. The walls are very, very thin. You can hear word for word the other occupants' conversations. The other room TVs can be heard - no problem.
THe price of this hotel is low, for sure, but not worth it .
The person at the check in desk was very nice, but that was all I could say for sure that was nice about this place.
