I had booked this via the internet & didn't quite realise that it was further from the action of Morro Bay than I had hoped. Room was very dark - had to open the back door to get some natural light in. Air con unit was right beside the bed, so too noisy to have on all night. I thought this was reasonably expensive for the room we had. Breakfast room was very average - clean, but not a lot on offer. There was an ironing board, but I couldn't find an iron anywhere & there was no one on site to source one either. Average stay.

This was a clean Hotel and pretty good price too. It wasn't a 5 star Hotel but I was in town for a funeral and this place worked well. Centrally located in Morro Bay, right off the freeway. There was no pool but there was a spa. It closed at 9:30pm. Parking lot is very small.

This one is a hidden gem except for the location. Very clean, very spacious, and very comfortable rooms for a prize which is lower than the value you get. No-hassle check-in, wide, well-lit halls, a nice breakfast-room, free and very fast WiFi - all you need. The only thing is the location right on California 1, which is good (no noise from the highway), but to get to the beach in the middle of town by car means a detour, while walking takes only ten minutes, but through an industrial-type area.
Still I will be back there for all the other reasons.

We stayed here three nights while visiting the tide pools at Montana De Oro and Hearst Castle.
The rooms were clean and roomy for the price....it is next door to a Motel 6 and it is the better deal for the few extra dollars. The staff was freindly but the continental breakfast does end at 9:30 sharp!!
The town of Morro Bay is smaller and nice. The area is a gem for the views of the Pacific Ocean and Morro Shores Inn and Suites is a nice and quiet place to stay after a long day of play...... if only they had a indoor pool but the spa was relaxing.

Rooms were clean. We stayed here for convenience because we played in a baseball tournament at the adjacent park. It's an easy 3 minute walk. There are only two floors, but no elevators. No pool, only a spa, which was fine. Continental breakfast is VERY small. I would stay here again if we play in another baseball tournament. It's just really convenient.

We stayed here recently for 3 nights. The motel was very quiet, wonderful for sleeping. The beds were comfortable, room quite large with 2 beds and table and chairs. The refrigerator and microwave were nice. Good shower, hot water, nice towels. Much better than your average Morro Bay motel. And much less expensive. And the best: you can walk directly to the sandy beach from the motel in about 5 minutes. With the best view of the rock in the entire town. Wonderful for sunsets! Definitely recommend the Morro Shores.

Very easy to find and close to the motorway.Nice rooms but the bathrooms could do with a bit of an update. However,a really good breakfast and free parking. Good for a short stay.
