Morro Bay has several good restaurants along the bay front and this is one of them. Had a table right by the window for a great view. The fish tacos were very good and the price was reasonable. The service was very good. This was the first dinner out of my four day trip and I went back my last evening and had a nice halibut dinner. Giovanni's was just a two minute walk from my motel so it was very convenient.

All tables are outside, burgers are too big to get your mouth around, folks drive for hours from the Central Valley just to get the fish tacos, and they have the best fish and chips in town. Price is right for thin purses, too.

Coming from a coastal town known for chowder we are kinda chowder snobs but thought we would see what they were all about. This is some really good chowder. Thick and buttery and creamy goodness. Just the right balance of clams and potatoes and herbs. Delicious!
