What a great surprise, the BEST oysters ever!! So great that we ordered an additional dozen!! Order at the window, Serve yourself, sit outside and have a great view of Morro Rock and enjoy the Food. At noon there were over 20 people in line, the line went fast and the order was prepared quickly. A real treat and reasonably priced.

“Probably the best place on the Central Coast for fresh fish.”
Reviewed April 22, 2013

I've been shopping here for over a dozen years - first, the outside restaurant has an ocean view, decent food and prices. Picnic style tables - long lines on weekends and summer - second, the inside store has fresh ocean caught fish, smoked fish, marinated herrings, crabs, frozen abalone [local] and langostino, even alligator and wine. Try the smoked salmon collars, messy but a treat. Costs are higher than the grocery chains but you'll know the difference in freshness and taste.

“Great after kayaking”
Reviewed April 1, 2013

Outdoor seating overlooking Morro Rock, reasonable prices and a large menu make this a great stop along Embarcadero to grab a bite. You order from a window, choose your seat, and pick-up when called, so it is all doable slightly damp. They open for lunch at 11:00 and the line can get long, but the food is good.

“Tasty fish & chips. Don't miss the market.”
Reviewed March 31, 2013

My husband and I were recently camping in Morro Bay and ate lots of fish. We had fish and chips at three different restaurants and thought Giovanni's was best. (Order the Halibut, it's worth the extra $$.) Skip the garlic fries, the regular fries were crisper. We also twice bought fish inside in their market, and cooked it at our campsite. Great little market with wine, sauces and such to go with your seafood.

“***Great Seafood***”
Reviewed March 18, 2013

This Place a popular spot for Fresh cooked Seafood in Morro Bay, normally there's a line of people waiting to order. Clam Chowder ok, the Fish & Chips Better. I normally get the Seafood Combo with a little bit of everything. If you order to Go, my advice is Eat it There!! For whatever reason it does not taste that good once you get back to your hotel or ??The "Fish on a stick" is great. For the "non seafood eaters", there is Burgers and chicken strips, etc. Seating is outdoors, and first come first serve basis. There is also the indoor seafood market if you want to take it with you and cook it yourself. I tried the shark Jerkey, it was pretty good actually. Nice Views of Morro Rock and the Harbor, overall Its Very Good. No complaints here, I have visited this spot for the last 15 years or so.
