Could see The Rock from our hotel room. Had a nice walk with our puppy, Lacey up to the rock and over to the ocean.

Morro Bay is our favorite plave to visit. Morro Rock can be seen from Los Osos to Cayucos. We love the squirrels they will take crackers right from your hand, its to cute.Like others have said if you have binoculars with you, its even a much greater experance.Don't drive by on the freeway without stopping to visit the rock, you won't be disapointed unless, you don't like awesome.Have 4 pictures to look at,

“HUGE and beautiful rock at Morro Bay”

Morro Bay has a darling street to shop and to eat - and you can see the huge Morro Rock all along the street. Wonderful to see, great photo op locations. Don't miss it. It's amazing.

“See the Otters at the Gibraltar of the Pacific”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 5, 2013

Morro Rock rises 580 feet and is surely the gem of the town. It is home to a bazillion birds. Come and park near the rock and get out and look around as the birds come into view. In a few minutes you will be spotting them everywhere! The parking in the north side of the huge dirt lot gives excellent views of the surfers and the surf. And now for incredible! The otters have been playing very regularly on the south side of the lot and the baby otters have been so much fun to watch!

“The Otters are SOOO Entertaining!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 2, 2013

Was a gorgeous day out. The Kite Festival was a site for the eyes. The Otters were close to the bank lounging a few new babies to watch....they were the cutest. Can't miss seeing these.
