My mom and I stayed at the Comfort Inn in Morro Bay while driving up the California coast. Morro Bay has a great waterfront area along Embarcadero Street to stroll around and watch the sunset over The Rock. The Comfort Inn had everything we needed: comfortable beds, tasty breakfast in the morning (not to forget the delicious coffee), a fabulous location to the shops and dinning, easy access to Highway 1, an enjoyable view of The Rock from our room, friendly staff and convenient parking. Try not to be scared by the negative reviews below, not everyone has the same experience, but as far as my visit played out... I truly enjoyed our stay in Morro Bay at the Comfort Inn and would definitely return if I were in the area.
