We booked this hotel on the strength of previous Trip Advisor reviews, and we're very glad we did. The hotel's location right on the waterfront (the parking platform is literally over the water) is hard to beat. We arrived in the rain and the switch-on log-effect gas fire suffused the room with a warm glow almost instantly. A very cosy room with probably the most comfortable bed we've ever slept on. We braved the rain to walk along to the restaurants and bars a short distance away on Embarcadero. In the morning the sun shone on the water and the Morro Rock lit up in the suns rays- absolutely stunning location. Breakfast is a do it yourself affair- ok unless you want the full works. All in all a great place to stay.
