“Bummer for both side”
Reviewed October 4, 2013

We took our friends from overseas who are currently working on a guide book checking restaurants and hotels on the Central Coast.
Food was alright even though my hubby's cod was partially raw.
Restrooms were super dirty and they could not tell us what beers they had on draft.
The windows were dirty and there was some internal remodeling going on inside which was covered by a curtain.
The price would have been acceptable but there was that 18% extra fee on top of everything.
This is what you get for bringing customers: Bring seven people or more and get punished with an EIGHTEEN percent extra charge! SERIOUSLY!?
Guess what, you did NOT make it in the guide book and we will NOT come back either!

“Good Food”
Reviewed July 23, 2013

My wife and I had an early dinner here. She ordered the tri tip steak and I had the fisherman's platter. Both were very tasty and filling. We also had a great view of Morro Harbor from our table.

“Great views of the bay, but eat and drink elsewhere”
Reviewed July 17, 2013

We set out to go to the Libertine Pub, but it wasn't open for lunch. One of the bartenders told us that we could get beer and lunch in the Embarcadero Grill (they're connected). When we tried to order beers, our waitress couldn't tell us what they were pouring - the chalkboard list was not accurate. She offered to get an accurate list from the pub, and that was the last we saw of her for about 30 minutes. There were only 5 or 6 tables occupied, so she wasn't exactly swamped with customers. She finally returned with a semi-accurate beer list and we chose the beers we wanted, but she didn't take our food orders until she returned with the beers. As it turned out, one of the beers was flat and tasteless, which more or less described the food as well. Never again! Great view, but there are many other places to see the same view and eat better food.

“Avoid!”
Reviewed June 10, 2013

Our group of 12 asked if we could have a table if only one of us we eating. The rest of us ordered a variety of drinks. They said it was just fine. THIRTY-FIVE MINUTES later two of us had iced tea. Period. Then three or four white wines arrived and one was completely spilled down the back of one of our party--the only person who had ordered food. About 5 minutes later the food and the rest of the drinks arrived. One glass was chipped. The servers stood around talking to each other. Since we were a large group 18% tip was added to the bill so we weren't even able to show our displeasure there. They need to go to customer service school!!!

“Very good lunch”
Reviewed June 10, 2013

Wow, there are a lot of terrible reviews for this place on tripadvisor! I'm not going to write one, though, because my family and I just had a good lunch there last week. We were visiting the area for the first time and wanted to have lunch someplace on the water, and their lunch menu looked okay, so we tried it. It was not very crowded at all, so our server didn't have many other parties to worry about, so our service was great. We ordered clam chowder, fish and chips, and burgers, and everything was tasty and brought to the table hot and fresh. My kids enjoyed watching the sea lions swimming around outside the window, and our service was quick and friendly. We had a really good experience here and based on it could recommend it to others.
