Be careful of this restaurant because they steal customer's credit card information!!!
My mom traveled to LA and used her Chinese credit card to pay for our lunch. Several days later after she came back to China, she found 10 fraudulent transactions made on this credit card, totaling approximately $1,000. We are pretty sure it is the waiter in this restaurant who committed the fraud, because the only time my mom used her credit card in this month was at the NBC Seafood restaurant in Monterey Park.
So if you have an international credit card (especially a card issued by a Chinese bank), do not use it in this restaurant because it's not safe!!!
Now we do not even know if we can get the money back because Chinese banks usually do not take responsibility for credit card frauds.

NBC is a traditional dim sum restaurant that still uses push carts with attendants to deliver the dim sum. That means you have to grab what you can when the cart passes your table. We were disappointed that some of our favorites were not on the carts that passed by and later found out that they were sold out; we did get there later (after 1 pm). The dim sum at NBC is a little bit on the pricey side, but their serving sizes are a little bigger. Either they give you one more piece or the size of the dim sum is a little bit larger. The dim sum choices are more basic than other newer dim sum restaurants in the area as they do not have more exotic types. The dim sum is good, but I would rather be able to order what we want and have it delivered directly to our table like other restaurants.

The good is that this place has very good dimsum! All cooked by a seemingly knowlegeable Hong Kong chef. Variety is very good and the place seats many. Again, very tasty dim sum! The Bad, the parking was tough to get on a weekday, also, the items are a tad on the pricey side, but worth it if you need your fix. There is no Ugly in this case, I recommend this to anyone who is looking for a good, tasty and convenient dim sum experience. And yes, I'm Chinese...;-)

Busy, authentic dim sum spot with cart service. Came here in a group of five at 11am on a Sunday and waited about 30 min to get a table. There’s a nifty system that shows the number that’s being called (which you first get from the hostess) so you can gauge your spot in line. Parking is hard immediately in front of the restaurant, so I suggest going to the additional parking space in the underground garage. It’s not that far of a walk but you’ll still get a chance to burn off a little bit of what you’ll eat. Once seated, you order off the carts. They all speak English, and they also use the menu to point to what they’re offering. The har gao is a bit more bland than what I’m used to, but the hot sauce they give perks it up. The siu mai is good, and I also like the honey BBQ pork buns and this dessert bread that has coconut on top with a custardy filling. My sister really liked the Peking duck, and the spring rolls were also good. It’s pretty reasonably priced and you can feast on a variety of dim sum. Bathrooms are available in the back. This is good for large groups and they do take credit card. They do offer to-go boxes if you don’t finish your food and there’s no WiFi available. It’s good for families and there’s a honey boba in the same complex should you have a hankering for dessert. Overall it’s a good dim sum spot.
