“food and atmosphere”
Reviewed January 1, 2013

We were here for NYE and managed to get a seat outside with really neat tables with a gas fire at the center. We stayed warm and enjoyed the atmosphere. The place is usually pretty busy but I'd been wanting to try it. The beer is tasty and we only had the garlic fries (amazing) but plan to be back for a full meal. Great time.

“We're here almost every evening when in town!”
Reviewed December 30, 2012

We typically order off the Happy Hour menu while playing pool with the kids. We spend anywhere between 2-4 hours here. Yes, we all love hanging out at this place. Please note, if playing pool and eating in the pool area, the wait service can be spotty (about 1/2 time, we had problems getting our waiter's attention, friendly service we when got it, though). We have ordered and loved the following from the Happy Hour menu: Sweet Potato Firecracker Fries (good), The Wing-Man (VERY good), Monterey Nachos (huge & good), Tortilla Soup (not on the Happy Hour Menu, but at $5, good). My husband and I ordered the Margaritas and the Belly Up Blonde beer, which were also, good. Our family loves hanging out at Peter B's on the evening we're in town. Yes, almost every night for a week.

“Free popcorn and pool. Good beer!”
Reviewed December 30, 2012 via mobile

I had a travel zoo deal so ordered calamari. They poored a mayonaise dressing on top and made the whole thing too soggy to enjoy. The fish tacos were not very good, kinda tasteless. Hot wings were good, a little spicy, but not many of them. We had a group of seven, two kids. They had a good time. I was impressed with the brewery's beer. I'd go there again for the atmosphere, popcorn and beer.

“Grand Slam Experince!”
Reviewed December 10, 2012

Went on a Travel Zoo offer. This place is alittle hard to find but well worth the adventure. Once inside we sat in a booth and enjoy our surroundings. Something for any age. Really wanted to use the pool table but will next time. This is a place we will return any time we are in the area. Great food! Great service! Walked into the hotel area afterwards and checked out historical information0on walls. Great for lunch or dinner .

“Great local beer when I was nearly desperate”
Reviewed December 10, 2012

A few weeks into our California family holiday I was ready for some really great beer (although being able to get Sierra Nevada pale ale almost everywhere isn't too shabby) & this place did not disappoint. Plenty of varieties & knowledgeable staff made that part very enjoyable for me.

The food was ok if not amazing & it didn't feel uncomfortable having the kids there even though it was basically a pub.
