Took my wife to Jacks Restaurant & Lounge at Portola Hotel & Spa for her birthday. The food was good I started with a 6’er of BBQ oysters, and they were very good. For dinner I had the rib eye steak, salad, mashed potatoes & asparagus. All if it was pretty darn good. My wife had the filet with broccoli and she loved it. For dessert we shared a chocolate lava cake and an apple turnover with ice cream and both were outstanding. Our waitress was AWESOME and she also sent over some 20-year port! WOW good stuff. Jacks is worth a look if you have time and the budget.
