My fiance and I stayed in Monterey for two nights during our recent trip to California. The first night we went to Chart House.
The staff were friendly and the view was incredible. The service was excellent, very relaxed so we could take our time, w did not feel rushed out of the restaurant at all.
The food was fantastic. The starters of the battered prawns were amazing, definately try them!
We both had fillet steak for entree, and this was beautifully cooked, the mashed potato was delicious.
We were so full that we couldn't manage dessert, although i desperately wanted to try the melting chocolate pudding, it smelt to die for.
The wine choice was good, and the wine we chose was perfect.
It was expensive but well worth the money.
