“Saw a Humpback”
Reviewed May 23, 2013

A humpback ended up coming within 20 yards of our boat, so it was totally worth the price of admission. I might feel otherwise if we saw nothing. Went on an afternoon trip midweek, and the boat was less than half full. That makes it easy to frequency change viewing positions. Dress warmly.

“Fantastic”
Reviewed May 14, 2013

Amazing.
Fabulous.
Exciting.
This excursion was beyond excellent. We went out in the morning with semi-rough waters. The boat is huge but we had to hang on tightly. Such a fun adventure. The crew made this trip. They repeatedly checked on all of us, had extra jackets on board and truly seemed to love the ocean and whales. The captain was in complete control of the boat, heading the proper way int the waves to ensure as few people would suffer from sea sickness as possible (no one did on our trip!). We saw a whale for the better part of an hour, up close and personal! Unreal.
Dress warmly. When you think you have enough clothes on, add another layer. Bring a toque, mitts and scarf. Plan on spending the entire time on the outside deck and getting splashed (or even wet)!

“Fantastic Crew!”
Reviewed May 7, 2013

Princess Whale Watching is by far the best in Monterey. The crew is super friendly and accommodating. They knew right where to go to sight whales for the day, and could not have made our group feel more welcome.

“Crew makes this trip a blast”
Reviewed May 1, 2013 via mobile

I want to thank the crew for making our whale watching experience a total joy. We saw Humpbacks and Dolphins. Crew was glad to use your camera a take your picture for you. I feel they went out of there way to get us to the whales. Dolphins were a delight. If you are staying in Monterey Bay it's a short walk to Fishermans Wharf to catch this boat.

“Excellent!!!”
Reviewed April 29, 2013

The was my first time attempting a whale watching excursion. It's a 50/50 chance you will see any whales or anything when you take this type of adventure. But I was happy I suffered through all the motion sickness for this 2 1/2 - 3 hr trip. It was gorgeous. Though I really would have liked to see a humpback whale, the killer whales we say was just as pleasing. One of the best experience in my life. Warning: if you get motion sickness easily, you might want to start taking those motion sickness pills the nigh before. Also, it is VERY cold on the water, so if you're not use to low temps you should layer your cloths. Awesome trip.
