My husband and I made a reservation for Christmas Dinner. The view was lovely. I don't know if they were simply not prepared to handle a crowd that day since other reviews of this restaurant were so great. We had a waiter who worked really hard but would basically walk by our table, see that we still had food in front of us continue by while saying, "no hurry folks, no hurry". He never let us tell him that our food had arrived cold. The food was colder than room temperature and it was supposed to be one of their Christmas menu specialties. After the fourth or fifth time he breezed by I actually stood up and up and insisted he stop and talk to us. We told him the food was refrigerator cold. Instead of listening to us or apologizing he turned heel and ran to get the manager. The manager comp'd our dinner and apologized. He even offered to comp a dessert but we truly did not want to be there any more. Other people around us were complaining too. The sad thing is that the waiter was working really hard and with proper training might have been better but the experience left us not wanting to return (or even stay for a free dessert).
