We wanted a great seafood meal our last day in Monterey. This restaurants menu was a bit pricey but we ventured in since the chowder samples were so delicious. During happy hour, you can sit at the bar and get discount appetizers. The crab cakes tasted beefy and were perfectly cooked with mango salsa. The coconut shrimp did not disappoint. They were sweet, crisp and juicy. The main courses were astounding!! We ordered fish dishes, mahi mahi and salmon. Both were flavorful, and tender, fresh and the portions were decent. We left no crumbs. despite being full I ordered dessert, The chocolate mousse. It's a must have. Our server was great, even had a few good jokes. He kept the bread and butter coming, which was not sour dough, thank goodness. Our experience was incredible. Even the butter theithing sea gulls couldn't ruin a meal here. My husband and I racked up a bill of $120. Totally worth it. The view was great too. Honestly we were too busy stuffing our faces with amazing food to really enjoy it.
