While visiting my nephew in Carmel we were looking for a seafood restaurant to have lunch with a view. I looked through the reviews on Tripadvisor but couldn't find just what we needed which was , a view, seafood , no stairs, and not much of a walk from a parking space. My nephew chose Fish Hopper and I'm glad he did. The view was great as it was at the end of a pier, and ambiance good too. Service was good. I don't remember exactly what everyone had, but I had the best macadamia encrusted fresh halibut I have ever had. It was coated with just the right amount of macadamia nuts and cooked to perfection. It was servered on a tasty bed of vegies with a nice portion of seet potato on the side. The portion size was plenty big and most people would not walk away wanting more. My nephew had the lobster and linguine and said it was very good. Oh, and the sourdough bread they served was excellent. We didn't have rooom for dessert, but when they brought the dessert tray to the table it sure looked good. I would definately try Fish Hopper again.
