This is a great down home breakfast spot. Some of the restaurants in downtown Monterey are a little bit Denny's like but this one is more like your own favorite hometown breakfast place. It was nice that the menu had lots-o-meat on it. The menu is huge and everything we had was great. We had pigs in a blanket, which consisted of three large pancakes, ham, an omlette and a coffee cake muffin (very good). Solid food, good prices and good service. Expect to wait for a few minutes to get a table since the place is not only small but has been rated by a local magazine as the best breakfast spot for something like seven years running.
