This place wasn't too bad. It had a great view, the food wasn't too bad and we must have went near the end of the night. It wasn't busy at all. When we left it seemed though as the crowd was picking up a bit, but it was perfect end to our trip in Monterey!

We just had to visit Louie Linguine's because it was close to the ocean in Monterey and because of its usual name. It's name is Italian but when you walk in, you feel like you're in a surfer's utopia. It had lots of vintage posters and surfer themed items, red and white checkered tablecloths and 50's music playing. Our server was very quick, efficient and accommodating. My boyfriend's generously portioned chicken alfredo dish was creamy and delicious. Unfortunately, my caprese salad was disappointing as the balsamic drizzle contained too much balsamic vinegar and not enough olive oil. All in all, it was a good meal, reasonably priced, with beautiful views.

Waited over an hour and a half after ordering and still didnt get our food! Server never checked back on us! Watched all the people seated long after us being served and heard some bs excuse from the manager! Finally had all we could handle and walked out to find another resturant!

A group of us were on a budget and initially went to Blue Fin for happy hour and Salsa dancing. Their "specials" were only $2 off so we returned to Louie's since the Gentleman distributing samples was so nice and informed us of specials. The waiter was not familiar with the drink specials but was nice. He was spread thin in the dining room. The bartender filled in when needed. We had appetizers of garlic fries, pizza, meatballs and calamari. All tasted good. We ate and drank for a very good price. The initial vodka drinks tasted watered down but were better when we ordered at the bar.

We had planned to go to fishermans wharf - but ended up at cannery row due to parking and rain. We jumped into Louie's purely due to the rain. Food was "ok" and prices were reasonable - but we're sure there are many other more preferable choices. The place was pretty much empty on the night if the first day of the Pebble Beach PGA tourney. We'll be exploring elsewhere.
