We had a very nice dinner here. Reception was friendly and server (Laura) excellent. Food was very good but fell down in two areas. The couscous was definitely overcooked and must have been cooked earlier in the evening. Scallops were lukewarm. Server said she would inform kitchen but no-one came to apologize. Seafood was really good and dessert heavenly

At the price charged we'd expect more

We had a late lunch since we were busy in evenings for car show. Always had a choice of table next to window for view of water. Great selection on menu and enjoyed our choices. Wine special (25% off bottle) which we ordered. If you dont drink it all, they send you home with your bottle in a nice wine bag! Excellent service; friendly staff. Went there twice!!

Very good clam chowder...the bread is crazy good! I would go back for a basket of just the bread! I had the grilled sampler platter...everything was very good. Service was just as good...no complaints about anything. As the previous reviews...this is not a kid friendly place. I am ok with that as they are very upfront about it. Big signs up front say no child seats available. If you have kids go someplace else...I didn't have mine so I went. If I do go back to Monterey with kids I will go someplace else. Go for the bread and chowder if nothing else.

The seafood dishes at this restaurant were very good with "just the right amount" portions. Service was top notch. It's definitely worth paying this place a visit if you plan to dine on Fisherman's Wharf. The deserts are also very good, and their presentation is so nice, it's almost a shame to sink a fork into them.

We ate at the smaller cafe which is across from the main restaurant. The clam chowder was amazing! We tried many samples on Fisherman's Wharf, but theirs is so good that we ate it two days in a row! Try it with the smoke salmon side dish... Fantastic!
