A very enjoyable experience. Clean, well equipped, well mannered staff. A joy to stay in. We will certainly be back next year.

The steam valve is turned on by a switch that is by the light switch -- other side of the bathroom and way above a toddler's head. I stayed there last month. Fireplace swith is also way above a toddler's head. Both features were pointed out to me when I checked in.

In July, 2002, we stayed at Lone Oak Lodge. No AAA discount was honored due to a conference in town. Our 2 year-old was burned by a steam outlet in the tub. No warnings were placed around the piece of metal located near the faucet which injected scalding steam into the tub area. We were up late into the night with icepacks trying to calm her down. Also, the room had a gas fireplace which was automatically ignited with the flip of a switch identical to a light switch. We felt this accommodation was dangerous for our young children.
