“Interesting”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 27, 2012

Very enjoyable stroll, plenty of wild life in such a short walk. Sea Lions just a couple of feet away rest on the rocks, Sea birds of all kinds, start fish galore, jelly fish, crabs. You can also watch the divers on a good day. All this in just a five minute walk, then at the end of the pier, countless Seals, Sea Lions and birds stacked on the rocks.

“Great view, great fishing, and close to Wharf and Cannery Row”

Although this is not somewhere I would hang out for hours, I've been a few times. You can fish, dive, and are very close to local restaurants and attractions.

“A beautiful sight.”

It's like being in the Monterey Bay Aquarium but it's free. The wildlife is so diverse and we saw jellyfish galore in their natural color and habitat.

“Scuba divers galore”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 15, 2012

If you have kids who love boats this is a great place to look at them. We didn't see a lot of wildlife when we were there, but the sun was already setting so that might be why. You can see starfish in the water which is pretty cool to see without the chance of getting wet.

“Place to Watch SCUBA Divers”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 10, 2012

Under renovation, so full length may not be open. Pier fishing possible when not crowded with divers. Massaro & Santos restaurant is affordable and good quality for a harbor view.
