My wife and I went to lunch before catching a movie. We were seated promptly and courteously and given a bowl of soggy potato chips. I would have preferred not to taste something so gross prior to my meal but whatever, they must think it tastes good (it does not). The waiter arrived promptly and we got two generous drinks (Ice tea and Soda) that were cols a delicious.
My wife ordered the PG Burger. The waiter was knowledgeable and answered all her questions. My Burger, the Great Big Greek Burger was listed as a Greek Burger with Greek Salad. However, the waiter wanted to add a dollar extra for the Greek salad. When I questioned him he explained that the Greek Salad was on the burger and if I wanted the Greek salad as a side (it was listed on the sides menu, which you get one of with yuor burger), it would cost me extra. I didn't care for that reply. If the menu says Greek salad, then why cheap out, after all the burgers were not cheap to begin with. I ordered the vegetable plate instead which did not cost additional. On to the food quality.
The burgers were not seared properly and seemed more as if they were boiled. The taste was bland in a way that the condiments did not fix. The roll was not very light. I would have preferred a toasted roll, to help the overall mediocrity of the burger. The vegetables were uninspiring and bland. Absolutely no flavor and can best be described as a plate of unseasoned yellow squash. Yuck. My wife got a small salad with watery dressing which was flavorless. Again, Yuck!
Total bill with tip was $40, for 2 BURGERS! Next time, I would go to 'Island Burgers' where I could get a delicious burger for half the price and no additional charges for menu errors made by the establishment. Very disappointing, and the waiter could have been more accommodating. He never asked if we were enjoying our meal so he must be used to the responses.
