“Geat for solo travelers!!!!”
Reviewed May 13, 2014

I had some time to myself. At times I do feel like touring alone is not safe. Due to the check in at the park I felt perfectly comfortable. The views are stunning, the drive is beautiful and the air is clean. Allow plenty of time. I spent over two hours. The main reason is because I stayed at Spanish Bay over an hour. There I had beach access and a walking path. I also stopped for lunch at the Pebble Beach Hotel Market Pantry. It's a quick and easy take out option with reasonable, gourmet items. Not to miss the famous Pebble Beach Golf Club house and the Lone pine on the side of the rock over the ocean....all so wonderful :)

“Don't Need to be a Golf Lover to Love this”
Reviewed May 13, 2014

We went on the 17 Mile Drive tour after traveling south to Big Sur. Although the Big Sur drive to me is much more enjoyable, there are just some beautifully fantastic views along this drive. We were able to see a seal get rescued on the beach. I heard traffic is busy on weekends, but came on a weekday and there was very little traffic considering.

“Beautiful Views”

Be sure to allow yourself plenty of time to do this drive as the stops are stunning, certainly a golfers paradise. The shops are pricey but that is to be expected at such prestigious venues

“Very Scenic”
Reviewed May 11, 2014

A very scenic drive along the sea coast in Carmel...there are 21 points enroute that you can stop your vehicle and take photographs.....the best one for me was the Restless Sea point where the waves look really menacing and lots of rocks of various sizes and shapes and the colors of the water are also very beautiful depending on the time of day. A bit too windy but good views of the Pacific waters.

“Once was enough”
Reviewed May 10, 2014

It is beautiful although I think once in a lifetime visit is needed just to say that you did it, not sure I'd do it again. I think it is silly to pay to drive through a neighborhood but I suppose they want their privacy. A bit slow and boring but if you like that sort of thing it may be relaxing and enjoyable.
