“An Amazing whale watching trip”
Reviewed July 9, 2014

It was a 4 hour trip. We had booked @ http://www.montereybaywhalewatch.com/trips.htm

They had smaller boats compared to Princess but it was faster and could reach closer to the whales. The trip period was also longer. We could see 18 humpback whales and lots of dolphins. There were few other animals and birds as well. All year round its cold so warm clothes are a must with caps to cover your ears. Even though i never had motion sickness but this trip was different. I had to taken medicines and still felt uncomfortable for some period of travel. Depending upon season i guess even Blue whales can be seen. We couldn't manage any :(.

Lots of yummy sea food around there

“Wow! This whale watch was amazing!”
Reviewed July 9, 2014

My husband and I booked this whale watch for July 1st at 9 AM. I had checked their website in advance and determined that AM was when they were having the most recent sightings. We saw a LOT on our tour. Lots of humpback whales, a group of Risso's dolphins, sea porpoises and a Mola Mola. We even had the thrill of seeing one whale breach! I would highly recommend doing this trip. It was well worth the money and just an incredible experience! Remember, even in July, you're going to need to wear pants and a jacket or hoodie!

“Go prepared and you will have a ball!!”
Reviewed July 6, 2014

TAKE warm clothes!!!!!!!!!even in July! I had on a long tee shirt with a light layer beneath, a hoodie, AND a rainjacket, jeans, closed shoes and socks, and I was still cold. We had a Great time,,but I recommend if you even think you might get sick, take a Dramamine. The crew was great. Saw lots of whales. This was our second trip.

“Great Trip and people”
Reviewed July 3, 2014 via mobile

Nice people from check in through the trip with informative narration and friendly service. We saw humpback whales and the after a quick dash a blue whale. We were lucky with the sightings but it is a really amazing trip out into the bay. Highly recommend if you are interested in a great time on the bay.

“Money well spent”
Reviewed July 3, 2014

Great experience overall. Many aspects of a trip like this are left to chance (weather, seas, whale activity, etc.) but we got pretty lucky. It was a bit cold but we had dressed for it. Had some pretty big swells but not too bad and we saw a school of dolphins and lots of Humpback whales. Even got to see a calf breach! We were hoping to see a blue whale and possibly even an Orca but it was not to be. The crew did a great job of providing information even coming around and talking to the passengers and answering questions.
