“take a walk along the path of history”
Reviewed April 25, 2010

There's more to see in Monterey than Fisherman's Wharf and Cannery Row. Monterey has many beautiful gardens and fascinating buildings. The state park is composed of many of these buildings. The Pacific house and The Custom house are two that are open to the public on the weekend. The rest can be viewed by taking a walking tour along the path of history which is found on a map you can pick up at the park office. Take a stroll and enjoy the many gardens and fountains you will come across as you view these historic houses.
