This motel was budget priced and was well located between Vegas and the south entrance of Yosemite. Room was spacious bed was comfy. Breakfast next day was good with plenty of choices. The only negative for us were the very lumpy small pillows. Very uncomfortable and we would like to see the property replace them. Otherwise bring your own.

As others have stated there is limited choice in Mojave but we are glad we picked here. The room was huge , clean , quite and the desk girl friendly & helpful. A bonus was a complimentary voucher for 10% off at a recommended restaurant which we gladly used. The included breakfast was also an added bonus and all for $80/night !! Great value and as per the photos this obviously is one of the windiest places on earth hence the title !! Highly recommended !!

I always enjoy my stay at the desert Winds. The staff is great and the breakfast superb. It is close to restaurants, gas stations and convenience stores. It is close to California City where I visit my kids and grandkids and play golf.

Not a lot of places to choice from in Mojave, but this hotel was clean and the staff friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel to others. A great value especially with the nice breakfast. The Denny is right next door, so its nice to walk there, no hassles getting a meal and a nights sleep.

Stayed here just one night travelling from Las Vegas through Death Valley then onto Santa Barbara. The room had everything you needed for a comfortable night. Lovely decorated room with two comfy queen sized beds. It was within easy walking distance of Denny's, Macdonald's, and other fast food restaurants. Didn't venture out into the town but didn't seem like the most attractive of places!!

Thank you so much for saying such lovely things about our hotel rooms. Even though we are in such a small town, we try hard to give the nicest stay possible to our guests.

While a guest at this hotel (a regular stop on our yearly trip), our car was stolen. The manager and staff were very helpful and supportive as we made contact with the police. As there is no taxi service in this small town, a staff member took my husband to the site of our recovered car, and the manager also went to the location as soon as possible to provide any necessary assistance. They went above and beyond supporting us through our extended stay. We would recommend staying at this Best Western in Mojave.
