As others have recognized excellant service. Food selection makes choices difficult The shrimp scampi in wine sauce is a must. Looking forward to our next dining experience there. Dont miss out.

Last Friday night we happened upon Delizie Ristorante in a shopping plaza and decided to give it a whirl. What a great find! We were quickly greeted by the charming owner and given numerous choices of seating, despite the restaurant being pretty full. We opted for the back patio, which was nicely tucked between a walkway and an adjacent building. After a lively discussion with Sal, we were brought a basket of good Italian bread with a little dipping cup of a Romesco style sauce. Nicely spiced and flavorful, it was a good departure from the typical olive oil and balsamic vinegar usually offered at Italian restaurants. Next came menus and a fun server named Nino. Several specials were mentioned and we were tempted, but we both opted for a shared starter and a plates of pasta. We quickly ordered the Calamari Fritti served with a slightly spicy red sauce and a thick lemon aioli. 5 minutes later, we were enjoying the perfectly flash fried calamari without any oiliness and the sauces were a good compliment. A bottle of Planeta La Segreta was the perfect balance for our calamari starter and our pasta dishes of Pappardelle with Cinghiale Ragu (Wild Boar). Our pasta came shortly after we finished our starter. Hot and steaming with a fluffly table grated parmagiano and all I can say is WOW! The pasta is made fresh daily, so the egg noodles were tender, but still al dente. The ragu was a thick, tomatoey, meaty sauce redolent with paper thin slices of garlic, mushrooms and a base of finely chopped carrot, onion and thyme. A classic Tuscan sauce done very well, but not overly done. All the flavors were balanced and was literally the perfect plate of pasta, even for a warm, early summer evening. Nino our server was extremely attentive, but not so that it felt intrusive. He never "disappeared" and never had to "apologize" for any misgiving, which seems to be the norm these days. A dessert menu followed, and I was tempted by the Frutta Stagionale (berries with a Chambord whipped cream), but that will have to be reserved for the next visit. My husband and I remarked that Delizie reminded us of the many restaurants we've encountered in our travels to Italy. Completely enjoyable and effortless dining in a relaxing setting with wonderful food served by charming and gracious people.

Owned by the owner of Piccolino's. Slightly different menu but still a large selection. Good bar and very friendly staff. Service is excellent.

Since taking over a few years ago this has been a real gem of a restaurant. The food is consistently good as well as the value. The only negative is if you are expecting to have a quiet conversation don't go on a Friday or Saturday night. It's loud and the acoustics are not good. Other than that expect to be delighted.

We visited on a Saturday evening after booking a table. It was pretty full but thinned out after 9pm.
Wine list was solid but food was fantastic. We started with the half board of dried meats and a pasta dish to share - both were great. However entrees, taken from the nights specials were exceptional. I had Lamb shank with risotto, my wife had halibut and both were perfection. Kids had pasta and seemed to enjoy. Bill was just over $200 with 2 bottles of wine.
