“Always a great experience”
Reviewed July 31, 2013

I go to O'Neill's fairly regularly, and I absolutely love this place. The outdoor seating area is my favorite - scenic and relaxing. The food is great, and the chefs are often able to accommodate special requests. However, the best part is probably the service. Everyone is super friendly and tries to make your dining experience the best it can be. The atmosphere is great, and when dining, you really feel like you've escaped daily life; it hardly seems as though you're actually in the middle of Mission Viejo. Couldn't recommend O'Neill's more.

“Great location”
Reviewed April 8, 2013

Great location and atmosphere. Good bar food and craft beer selections. Extensive dining menu and indoor/ outdoor dining. Can get a little crowded on weekends.

“Wonderful Dinner”
Reviewed January 17, 2013

We had a delicious dinner Saturday evening (January 12). Our reservation was at 5 pm because we had tickets to a play later that evening. Our server was Angel. She was efficient, helpful and nice!

We started with the Braised Lamb Stuffed Piquillo Pepper Sliders. They were fantastic! We almost ordered another serving.

My guest had the Wedge Salad. Great dressing and lots of blue cheese bits.

For an entree, I had the Mahi Mahi which was a special that night. The fish was cooked wonderfully, keeping all the flavor.

My guest had the Mesquite Smoked Pork Brisket Ribs - declicious!

I had a white wine flight with my Mahi Mahi and tried some new wines.

Our meal was leisurely but Angel made sure we were done and on our way in plenty of time.

There is wood burning fireplace in the bar where we would have liked to sit. The bar, because of the early hour (still a lot of golfers) and the play-off football games was very crowded and we were seated in the dining area.

There was live music - a one man band - which we enjoyed. The TVs were muted - the patrons were not! :)

I recommend this restaurant for great food and relaxed atmosphere.

“Feel like you went to Hawaii without the price of a ticket”
Reviewed November 16, 2012

I love having the Sunday brunch here- ask to sit on the patio and you will feel like you are in Hawaii- overlooking the rambling golf course. The brunch has great selection and is usually not that crowded- great value

“The Best in Mission Viejo !”
Reviewed October 12, 2012

This very attractive bar and dining facility is certainly worth a visit. The Restaurant is part of The Arroyo Trabuco Golf Club complex. Had dinner here with 10 people including four youngsters all under the age of 10. Food is good...try the salmon. Thew service is excellent even though the place was crowded on a Friday evening. The staff is very attentive and caring. The best part is the music performed by a fantastic artist by the name of Steve Dudek. He plays everything and well !!!!!
Don't miss this.
