We were quite happy with this hotel, and would stay here again. It was surprisingly quiet, the quality of the breakfast was very good (lots of fresh fruit), and the location was great. There are a number of interesting Asian restaurants in a shopping area across the street, too.
Very nice hotel in San Jose. Staffs are excellent and hotel is very clean and neat. I have to say breakfast was delicious. Free internet and computer available. Restaurant and convenient store was in 5 mins away.
I have stayed at this Hampton 4 different times and have been very happy with the service each time. Front desk and breakfast staff have shown outstanding customer service skills. If you are flying out of SJC, you can park here for free and use Uber or Lyft. I was impressed with the free breakfast. There have been fresh blueberries, raspberries and strawberries in addition to the usual waffles, pastries, and oatmeal. For the price point, this is an excellent hotel.
The first thing I noticed was the damage to the bathroom vanity. Then the broken tiles. Not a big deal for me. I just wanted to make sure management was aware of it. They were. Manager apologized and asked if we would like another room. I told him it wasn't necessary.
Then I noticed bathroom wasn't very clean. The floor was dirty. Inspected the sheets and found pink stains on one bottom sheet. The other bed looked like sheets may have not been changed. Called manager and asked for two sets of sheets which he promptly provided. Only staying one night. Will not stay here again.
There are lots of choices in the area. Wish I had read other reviews first. Not sure how this place got four stars.
Location is extremely convenient, close to shopping centers, dining area and freeway access, yet a quiet place to stay. Has every conveniences for guests although they are of standard quality. Has complimentary breakfast, small pool and gym. Complimentary coffee and internet are always available.
