Carpaccio is a neighborhood standard that never disappoints. The dishes are traditional and well prepared. You not be "wowed", but you will never be disappointed!

The entrees are solid, but the fish is a real specialty. The wine list is very complete and not overly priced, A great place to go with friends and family for a meal and conversation.

Cozy and comfortable, carpaccio is located on a side street in menlo park. Many locals frequent the restaraunt. Terrific food, wine service and ambiance keep us coming back for more.

Try the bombetta di parmesiana "parmesian souffle salad" to start, and the penne pesto - both are spectacular. But of course, you can't go wrong with this menu...I've been many, many times and have never had a bad meal or a bad experience.

"We were a group of six. One person felt her dish was cold, when the dish was rewarmed the scallops got tough. Her husband said his expensive steak was hard to chew and said the left overs weren't fit for a dog (they brought a doggie bag anyway). The worst part was that any mention of the steak problem was completely ignored. The waiter never came to ask how the food was and the people who served us, either didn't speak English or ignored what we were saying. The rest of us enjoyed our food. We were very disappointed because of all the previous great reviews we had heard. The place was crowded and seemed very popular."

"Delicious"—short, sweet, and straight to the point! Thank you very much for rating us earlier this year.

Like you said, the antipasto casalingo is a great dish for sharing—definitely a classic! Do you happen to recall what you ordered for your entree? We plan on sharing your kind words with our kitchen.

Thanks again, and take care. We hope to welcome you back the next time you are in Menlo Park!

Ciao,

Bob & Ciya, Partners
