“Dine here even if you're not staying at the hotel!”
Reviewed March 22, 2013

The Menlo Grill Bistro has a terrific menu and even better food. Our party of 4 shared many dishes on the menu, and each one was superb, from the black cod to the cornish hen, the lamb and appetizers. Of special note from the starters are the carrot soup and the asparagus salad, and for dessert, the mint chip cookie sundae is enough for 4, and beyond delicious. Can't wait to dine here again!

“Wonderful original food, great vegetarian choices”
Reviewed March 12, 2013

Several people in our party were vegetarians and they loved the different vegetable plates, one was gnocchi with pumpkin and kale and the other had faro and truffle flavored pecarino. Many levels of complexity but everything went together really well. It's great to find a place that makes really interesting vegetarian choices. The meat eater in the group said his pork chop was just perfect and some had the raw tuna appetizer and found the fish extra tender and fresh. So full marks to this restaurant. Surprising to find it tucked away in a hotel.

“best pork chops ever”
Reviewed January 1, 2013

If you like pork chops, these are the best I've ever tasted! Brined in cider to make them really moist, served with a wonderful sauce and attractive presentation--they came with nicely roasted brussell sprouts (which even my son liked) and slices of apple. Also recommended: their artichoke dip. My husband practically filled up on these alone. The little bit left we took home. When we unpacked the left-overs, we were pleasantly surprised to see that the restaurant had thoughtfully added some crostini. Parppadell Pasta was goo, too. For dessert, we shared warm chocolate chip cookies.
