Jason's Cafe isn't the fanciest restaurant in the area, but it might very well be the best! The menu is almost as huge as the servings, and the staff is wonderful. Jason's is conveniently located near Stanford Hospital, and the way guests are treated leads me to believe that they are very used to helping those who don't feel well. They are very patient and helpful-taking their time out to open doors for guests and even delivering take out food right to the car. The food is delicious and menu varies from traditional breakfast/diner food to Chinese and Mexican entrees. We ate at Jason's a number of times during our stay at Stanford, and the food was consistently delicious. The servings are enormous and the fruit and vegetables fresh. Can't wait until our next visit to Jason's Cafe!

For a comfortable local restaurant, Jason's has what every family member wants. If I feel like breakfast for dinner, but A feels like a burger, and Ad wants tofu, and N wants noodles, Jason's is our go-to place. Waiting in line for the trendy restaurant with mediocre breakfasts down the street on a weekend morning makes NO sense when Jason's has friendly staff, no wait, better food, and a much lower price. A and I come here for as a default option for no frills, but well-cooked meals, with large portions ( good for left-overs in an Eco-friendly non-styrofoam box). Same for when the adult kids are home. You can get American, Asian, breakfast, or vegetarian options and service with a smile.

Jason's is not elegant dining, the building is a former fast foodie, but it is a best bet in Menlo. They have an extensive menu with great breakfasts, burgers, feature plates. Inexpensive. Staff is always fast and friendly. Easy parking in their lot.

This is the worst restaurant in Menlo Park. MP has a lot of places, casual, upscale, lots of cuisines, but this place is terrible. They have a lot of interesting things on the menu ( like roti ) but if you get stuck here, just get something uncomplicated, like a burger or a glass of milk. Go to a Denny's instead.

Whenever I need great food, don't want to cook and feel like "family" I head to Jason's - love the staff, the location, the parking - love it all!
