“Great Experience”
Reviewed February 21, 2013

My wife and I have just returned to "the real world" and what a bummer after experiencing the comfort, great food and wonderful hospitality of The BGI. The owners have thought of everything to provide an exceptional traveling experience

Room Tip: They are all excellent choices. The Smuggler Cove provides a view of the coast.

BGI was one of the highlights of a 2,750 mile California road trip. Our room was excellent with lovely views of the sea. Breakfasts were superb and the evening buffet with local wines and beers was well worthwhile. We really enjoyed our stay there and look back on it with fond memories.

Room Tip: Ask for room on upper level with sea view.

Not only was our acomodations exceptional, the added surprise of a light dinner and full breakfast was included! Our vegan fair upon request was delicious and recipes were supplied upon request! The movie selection was great, and we thoroughly enjoyed our weekend. Brewery Gulch Inn is clean and nicely appointed! We look forward to another visit someday.

My husband and I found this inn 5 years ago. This was our 3rd trip. As always, we had a fantastic visit. The inn is gorgeous, the food is wonderful, but the attention to guest comfort is what sets the inn apart. My husband and I always leave feeling pampered and relaxed. In fact, my husband commented this trip that he would feel as if he were being "punished" now if we stayed somewhere else in the area.

This place was a fantastic place to get away. The food was the best thing about it! The only negative was the noise level. We could hear the person in the room above us snoring! Other than that, it was a nice place to relax!

We have just returned from our wonderful stay at the Brewery Gulch Inn. It remains our favorite, actually of any place we have stayed anywhere. The location is wonderful, the Inn itself is work of art. Everything was perfect! Loved our room with the beautiful view of the ocean. Champagne was in our room, in remembrance of our last visit and our anniversary. Delicious breakfasts and evening wine hour buffet. We didn't want to leave! The other guests are always people we love to meet and most are also regular visitors. I guess our favorite thing is the hospitality of Guy & Sarah, JoAnne, Margi and all of the staff members. Such kindness and warmth is a beautiful thing. We cannot wait to return!

What can be said that has not already been said. So, will just confirm the other remarks by saying that we too experienced an amazing stay. EVERYTHING was perfect from the point we arrived, welcomed by Margi, then arriving in our most lovely room with a view of the sea. We relaxed in a way that we normally do not when we travel - no go go go for us for 2 days. Just reading and enjoying our time together. The food was top notch - all prepared by an in house chef. Lite nibbles in the evening complete with wine - which can easliy be dinner. Oh, and I should also mention the dessert and coffee - wow! And then if that we not enough we woke to a breakfast menu that had choices galore. We both had the hot cooked breakfast that was as good as any that we have had a a fine resturant. Too bad that we cannot give Guy and his staff 10 stars. BTW - don't let the price dissuade you as it is really a bargain in diguise.
