The Brewery Gulch Inn is beautiful and modern. The towels are amazing. The food is delicious. The hospitality is warm and welcoming. We highly recommend the BGI for a romantic getaway and opportunity to reconnect.

Room Tip: The Heron has an ocean view.

Stayed for just one night and wish it had been a week! Very friendly hospitality, and excellent value for money. We were upgraded without being asked. Nothing was too much trouble. The included evening buffet and lovely breakfast were both top notch. Highly recommended!

Mendocino and the Brewery Gulch Inn are wonderful! The Lookout room has a great view and is very comfortable. The staff was very helpfull and made excellent suggestions as well as arrangements to vist wineries. The dinner reservation they were able to get for New Year's eve was one of the best experiencies. However, I almost felt gulity going out to dinner after the wine and "light" meal served at BGI. The chef is very creative and each evening's experience was unique. The excellent breakfast made lunch unnecessary. I look forward to returning.

Room Tip: The rooms facing the ocean are all great. Corner rooms have large tubs.

We spent three nights of our honeymoon here in the Pelican Room. We absolutely loved it! Mendocino and the Inn fit us perfectly! Mendocino is a small, laid back town. There is plenty to do in the way of kayaking, hiking, boutique shopping, whale watching, etc. But it truly is just a beautiful place to relax and unwind. The inn was definitely on the pricey side for us, but we wanted somethng nice for our honeymoon. The service was excellent. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The staff kept our dinner warm for our late evening arrival the first night, helped us book a whale watch (literally all we had to do was ask and they did the rest!), and also is mailing us a piece of clothing we accidentally left behind. The room was comfortable. We had a nice warm electric fireplace as well as a deck. The windows all opened as well as the deck door and we were abel to hear the waves at night. The freeway is between the inn and the ocean, but traffic is very light and it did not obstruct the view or take away from the experience in any way! The view from our room was absolutely gorgeous of the ocean! We also took advantage of the movies the inn had available for use as well as games. Lots of good choices to use in your room with no extra charge. The breakfasts were fantastic!!!!! Loveed the banana pancakes and french toast and bacon and hot chocolate! There were also deer each evening grazing nearby. The only negative for us was the wine and hordeourve hour. It is an excellent convenience and good thought, but the food was a bit too gourmet for us. We found on multiple nights that it was not something we really cared for and decided to go out instead. I wouldve loved it if it had been a little more "normal" or home cooked food rather than fancy things we were not used to. We WILL be back! Loved our stay.

The Brewery Gulch Inn was a wonderful experience. The BGI was one of the most well kept and comfortable places I have ever stayed. The hospitality was fantastic. The view and accessibility to outside was great and so was the natural wild life. I loved the private cozy fireplace too. The food was also healthy and fun with the happy hour touch. It was a perfect getaway.
