We visited the Blue Door Inn in the beginning of May. The house is gorgeous - nothing frilly here. All contemporary, white, neutrals and bright. The bed was the most comfortable we slept in out of the 4 hotels we stayed at during our trip. The marble bathroom was beautiful and the shower amazing. Steve greeted us and couldn't have been any nicer. When we arrived there was wine out for the pouring and we went a few short blocks to the headlands to watch the sunset. The next morning we sat in the beautiful dining room where Steve made us a magnificent 2-course breakfast. Normally we are not B&B people, but I would stay here again. We had the Windsor room right at the top of the stairs. It was not a huge room, but large enough that it had a fireplace and everything we needed. Gorgeous updates.
