The gentleman who waited on us was Hispanic, and I'm guessing he's the baker/owner. Many of the items on the menu were Mexican -- empanadas, rellenos, etc. All this, alongside beautiful danishes, nut-based cookies, and other pastries. The raspberry linzer-type cookie was delicious and also the Russian tea cakes. The oatmeal cookie was a bit over-baked and unusually full of cinnamon. Still, this place is worth stopping in for a treat.
