I stayed at LVI for a week and totally enjoyed every minute. The owner, Christine, was there to make sure my stay was as pleasant as possible. The daily breakfast was delicious, especially the home-made muffins. And don't foget to ask for any home-made peach jam for sale...it was scrumptious and made by her mom.
Mariposa is a cute little town to visit with a fabulous gem museum on the way. Yosemite is a must and not a long drive.
I look forward to my return to LVI.

A little off the beaten way but well worth it. Between Oakhurst and Mariposa Little Valley is so peaceful and a great way to end a busy day. The breakfasts were delightful and the owner incredibly helpful with local information as well as for Yosemite.

Upon arrival, we were greeted by a very pleasant and smiling Inn Keeper, Christine.
She not only provided us with wonderful hospitality, but served as a travel guide as to what to do in Yosemite and where to eat locally. Her continental breakfast every morning was a treat, especially her homemade muffins. We highly recommend this peaceful and serene Inn which is in a lovely parklike setting.

My wife and I and our 2 friends stayed here in May 2009 for 4 nights. We had 2 rooms and they were both spacious and clean. The bed was very confortable! We sat out on our deck with a bottle of wine as we planned our adventure for the next day hiking in fabulous Yosemite Park. Very peaceful and relaxing! The location of this home was very convenient for Yosemite too, as the sights are spread out in the Park and this Inn is close to both entrances. It was obvious that the owner, Christine, pays attention to detail in her decor; it was very comfortable and we felt welcome and at home. Christine was very nice and gave us an overview of the area and had some great suggestions for hikes and places of interest with maps and brochures. Breakfast was fine and there was a nice variety to choose from, even fresh sliced fruit. The flower gardens were a massive array of color; just beautiful. The restaurant Pop's is 1 block away and is very good and we also recommend the Mining and Mineral Museum down the street just a couple miles. We all loved this place and feel lucky to have found it!

We stayed for 2 nights in "Little Valley Inn" when visiting Yosemite.
Christine, the inn-keeper is a very nice person who gave us lots of tips regarding things to see in the short time we stayed there. She also pointed out some good restaurants.

The rooms are very clean.
At breakfast Christine serves home-made Chi-Berries which our kids adored.
To find out what Chi-Berries are, head for the Little Valley Inn on your next Yosemite trip !

We stayed 3 nights at Little Valley, Christine was very very helpful in planning our short stay. My children absolutley loved this place. It is very quite, very clean and beautifully decorated and has a great resturant down the road with petrol station. Breakfast was very nice too. The only thing that bothered my husband was that there was no mobile signal (he works for himself so needs to keep in touch with people), may be a good idea to have internet access in reception, but this is by no means a criticism as we throughly enjoyed this beautiful place.

We stayed at Little Valley Inn in June 2007. We stayed in a cabin with a kitchen and 2 queen beds. We loved the place. We even wrote a good review in the guest book. The cabin was nice and clean. The kitchen was also spotless.(TV did not work properly, but we did not mind and did not complain because we were there to enjoy nature). So because of all these pluses we decided that we would go there again next year.

I tried to call Christine today (08/21/2008) to ask about availability of 2 cabins because we were going to bring our friends with us.
She was extremely rude to me saying that she does not rent cabins for less than 2 days. THEN SHE HUNG UP A PHONE ON ME!!! IF she said that nicely I was happy to book the Cabins for 3 nights. I thought she misunderstood me with some one else SO, I tried to call her again she was EVEN MORE RUDE.
I understand she must be having a bad day but this not how you run a service business. I DO NOT THINK I WILL BE GOING THERE AGAIN EVER.
