“Really Amazing”
Reviewed June 7, 2013 via mobile

Riding thru Yosemite & staying in Mariposa, CA a local recommended the restaurant. We liked the renovated 1880 house & the staff was attentive but did't expect such a great meal. It went like this when ordering the salad the waitress said they make their own dressing & so we went with it. Wow - really good. Along with the salad came the garlic bread hot right out of the oven with just the right amount of spices. The real treat was the BBQ sauce for the ribs which they said the chef made himself. It was awesome. He added honey & not sure what else but it was really good. They even said the chef had his own bees but that would mean this poor man has no life outside of food creations?

“Great Find”
Reviewed June 2, 2013

Such a small town and yet the have some great places to eat. This one should not be missed. The food was excellent. The atmosphere is warm and cozy with a menu for every taste. Easy walking distance from most hotels in the area.

“Only Stayed in Town 2 nights, Ate Here Both Nights”
Reviewed June 1, 2013

Visiting Yosemite, staying in the little town of Mariposa for two nights. Ate at this restaurant the first night and then came back the next night! The four of us (baby boomers) enjoyed our meals, both nights. Out of the 7 different dishes (the guys got the same thing the second night), each was worthy of high praise. Prices are reasonable. Service was wonderful, from the hostess (Sherri) to the attentive waitstaff, especially our waitress, Shari. Atmosphere is homey and welcoming. If you visit this town, be sure to visit this restaurant; you won't be sorry.

“Fabulous!”
Reviewed May 31, 2013

This place is BUSY because the food is DELICIOUS, so I highly recommend reservations. The restaurant is owned by the chef, and it's obvious that he takes pride in the food he creates. Everything is made from scratch. We had the mud pie for dessert which is to DIE DIE DIE for. We also ordered coconut prawns as an appetizer that they were also terrific. The beef here is is amazing. Did I mention I liked the food? I would definitely go there again. We ate there two days in a row for dinner.
